P200K bounty offered for Divinagracia’s arrest

An estimated P3.5 million worth of suspected shabu was seized yesterday afternoon following a buy-bust operation at Menlo Village in Talisay City’s Barangay Zone 10. Police identified the arrested as 27-year-old Maria Dolor Rusabia, 20-year-old Juana Rusabia, 27-year-old Mark Orquia, 25-year-old Rommel Ferrer, and 19-year-old Jason Parohinog, all residents of Barangay Mambulac in Silay City.
Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOPPO) director, Police Colonel Romeo Baleros, said the suspects were working for notorious crime boss Michael Divinagracia, who was law enforcement’s primary target during the operation but he was not on the premises.
The NOPPO director said he believes the drugs they seized were bound for Cadiz City, which will celebrate the Dinagsa Festival this coming weekend.
Following the success of the operation, Baleros is now offering a bounty of P200,000 for information leading to Divinagracia’s arrest.
The suspects face charges in violation of RA 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./DGB, WDJ
