An Indian-national was arrested after he allegedly sexually assaulted his 19-year-old house helper inside his home at Eroreco in Bacolod City’s Barangay Mandalagan. Police identified the suspect as 32-year-old Jagtar Singh.
Based on a complaint filed by the 19-year-old victim, she woke up and found Singh on top of her committing a lewd act. The assailant then allegedly ordered the victim to hold his genitalia.
The victim shouted for help.
Singh was later arrested in a follow-up operation by police.
The suspect, however, denies the allegations and claimed he was trying to wake up the victim.
He also urged police to review the closed-circuit television footage from his home as he claimed it will prove his innocence.
Police are currently investigating as the suspect remains detained at Police Station 3./DGB, WDJ
