MDM Sagay College rules Silay-Sagay

MDM Sagay College Inc. won the National Basketball Training Center Silay City-Sagay City qualifying leg over the weekend at the Sagay City gym with a dominating 137-70 victory over Vito National High School of Sagay City.
John Paul Amante, who was named MVP, scored 23 points for MDM; while John Paul Sembrano contributed 22; Willie Fred Galo delivered 20; Garry March Jore, Jan Mig Niño Devierte, and Joshua Delagao each supplied 14; and Kayetan Leonoras added 13.
The winners advance to the regional finals, where they will face San Carlos City leg champions Tañon College and Bacolod City leg winners Bacolod Tay Tung High School.
The regionals are scheduled for February 25./ASC, WDJ
