A man was killed earlier this week following a hit-and-run in Pototan’s Barangay Batuan. Authorities identified the fatality as Pio Petisme, Jr. of the town’s Barangay Fernando Parcon Ward.

According to police, the victim was walking along a road when he was struck by a van. The driver then fled the crime scene.

Petisme reportedly died from a head injury.

As of press time, the driver remains unidentified./WDJ
