The ‘Business One-Stop Shop,” which was initially scheduled to end yesterday, at the Bacolod City Government Center, has been extended until February 29. Last year, the same extension was provided for the annual event which allows for the renewal of business permits and registration of new businesses.

Bacolod City Vice Mayor El Cid Familiaran affirmed no penalties or surcharges will be assessed for those who process documents during the prolonged period.

“The extension will, in effect, exempt businesses that failed to secure business permits from payment of penalties and surcharges,” he explained.

However, he noted, the 10 percent discount extended during the original processing period is no longer valid./DGB, WDJ
