The Phoenix Pulse Fuel Masters announced they will be sending Bacolodnon guard L.A. Revilla, alongside Rey Guevarra, to NorthPort Batang Pier in exchange for point guard Solomon Mercado. The trade proposal was submitted to the PBA Commissioner’s Office yesterday.
The Bacolod City native began his PBA career with Batang Pier when they were known as GlobalPort Batang Pier. He went on to join the Columbian Dyip before suiting up for Phoenix.
Revilla is coming off surgery on his foot, which forced him to miss the recently-concluded PBA Governor’s Cup.
Guevarra also previously played with the then-GlobalPort Batang Pier
Meanwhile, Mercado had just joined Batang Pier after being traded from Barangay Ginebra San Miguel in the middle of the 2019 PBA season./ASC, WDJ
