Barotac Nuevo teams win at football festival

Teams from Barotac Nuevo recently captured two titles at the 1st Jerry P. Treñas Dinagyang Football Festival, which took place at the Central Philippine University (CPU) football grounds in Iloilo City. Barotac Nuevo Footballers United won the Under 18 division with a dominating 5-1 win over Jamindan FC, while the Barotac Nuevo selection won the Under 12 category after a 1-0 victory over Jaro.
Meanwhile, Janiuay Defenders FC finished third in both competitions.
In other results, Boracay FC won the Under 18 Plate competition, Leganes FC captured the Under 12 Plate event, and CPU won the men’s open category.
