The 3rd Church, Military, and Police Negros Forum took place earlier this week in San Carlos City, where Diocese of San Carlos Bishop Gerardo Alminaza met with battalion commanders under Philippine Army 303rd Infantry Brigade (303IB) commander, Colonel Inocencio Pasaporte, and police, represented by Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office Director, Police Colonel Julian Entoma.
The forum was first launched last August as a means of attaining a peaceful Negros.
The initiative seeks to ensure transparent and open lines of communication to strengthen relationships among the four Roman Catholic dioceses, military, and police, as well as to find solutions to the problems of insurgency, drugs, and criminality./DGB, WDJ
