Cebuano point guard Brian Heruela will be heading to the Phoenix Pulse Fuel Masters after the Blackwater Elite yesterday announced they would be trading him for guard Ron Dennison. The deal is currently pending approval by the PBA Commissioner’s Office.
This will be Heruela’s second trade within five months after he was earlier sent to the Elite from the TNT KaTropa in exchange for Michael Digregorio.
For Dennison, the move to Blackwater offers him the opportunity to reunite with fellow Far Eastern University (FEU) alumni including Rey Mark Belo, Chris Michael Tolomia, Carl Bryan Cruz, and Richard Escoto.
Additionally, he will also rejoin former FEU coach Nash Racela, who was recently appointed to mentor the Elite./ASC, WDJ
