The University of St. La Salle (USLS) emerged as champions of the 1st Mayor Raymund Tongson, Jr. Intertown Volleyball Men Open, which took place last weekend in the city’s Barangay Buenavista. USLS won P15,000 after scoring a 25-20, 20-25, 15-8 win over Pulupandan in the finals.
Christian Marcelino, Herold Parcia, Von Kecayo, Mario Eusala, Jiane Clare Copones, Louie Pudadera, Dale Lucito, Reymart Tabara, Lancelot Dagooc, and Jopeth Torico made up the winning roster.
Meanwhile, the NOPSSCEA Bacolod squad pulled off a 24-25, 25-20, 15-8 win over Iloilo to win third place.
