A man was arrested last Tuesday after allegedly stealing electrical wires stored inside a guardhouse at a subdivision located in Bacolod City’s Barangay Alijis. Police identified the arrested as 25-year-old Ardel Velez, a resident of Silay City’s Barangay E. Lopez.
Based on information provided by Police Station 7 (PS7), the suspect was caught by the subdivision’s engineer.
Velez was immediately subdued by the engineer and the subdivision’s security personnel.
He attempted to cart away with four rolls of electrical wire worth around P1,200.
The suspect faces qualified theft charges and is detained at PS7./DGB, WDJ
