A salesman from Bacolod City was held up by an unidentified suspect last Monday at Sitio Punod in San Carlos City’s Barangay Prosperidad. Police identified the victim as 36-year-old Jay-R Tupas Baldevia of Bacolod City’s Barangay Punta Taytay and a salesman for the Philip Morris-Fortune Tobacco Corporation.
According to police investigations, the suspect pointed an unknown caliber firearm at Baldevia around 12:20 p.m. as he was parking his vehicle. The suspect subsequently took P24,000 in cash, a bag with a printer worth around P45,000, and a scratch card worth approximately P2,500.
The suspect then fled toward an unknown direction./WDJ
