Gilas in qualifiers

Ilonggo brothers Kiefer and Ferdinand ‘Thirdy’ Ravena III, alongside Antiqueño forward Rey Mark Belo, are set to lead the Philippine men’s national basketball team, Gilas Pilipinas, in the 2021 FIBA Asia Cup qualifiers. The first qualifying round begins on February 20, when the Philippines takes on Thailand.
This is the first time the brothers will be suiting up together for the national team; while, for Belo, the qualifier is a return to Gilas Pilipinas.
In addition, Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas announced last Friday, the 24-man would also include Christian Standhardinger, John Paul Erram, Bobby Ray Parks, Jr., Jeth Troy Rosario, Roger Pogoy, Jaymar Perez, Marc Pingris, Matthew Wright, Japeth Aguilar, George Isaac Go, Matt and Mike Nieto, Rey Suerte, Allyn Bulanadi, Frederick Tungcab, Kobe Paras, Juan and Javi Gomez de Liano, Justine Baltazar, Dwight Ramos, and Dave Ildefonso./ASC, WDJ
