Two persons were arrested in a buy-bust operation around 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday inside Room 14 in the 2nd Floor of VJB Pension at Uriarte Subdivision in La  Carlota City’s Barangay 3.

Police identified the suspects as Michael Lanza Molinos, 36, single of the city’s Barangay 2, and Aileen Exaltado Claridad, 46 of Purok 3 in Bacolod City’s Barangay Magsungay.

Police confiscated 18 sachets of suspected shabu including a buy-bust item worth P50,000 using a P500 buy-bust money; drug paraphernalia and a cash of P520 in different denominations.

The suspects were detained at La Carlota City PNP and charged with violation of RA 9165, or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./WDJ
