Bacolod Tay Tung High School opened the National Basketball Training Center regional qualifying leg in Bacolod City with a lopsided 115-45 win over Negros Occidental High School at the BAYS Center over the weekend.
“I commended all the players because they did their roles on offense and defense,” said Tay Tung head coach Ronald ‘Yong’ Despi. “Hopefully lang at magtuloy-tuloy because madami pang games ahead of us (Hopefully, we can continue this way since we still have many games ahead).”
In other results, Escalante National High School scored a 99-76 win over Maranatha Christian College, Colegio de Sta. Ana de Victorias pulled off a 84-75 win over Sum-ag National High School, and Living Stones International School sealed a 84-76 victory over Colegio San Agustin-Bacolod.
