Four individuals, including a minor, were arrested early yesterday morning following a buy-bust operation at Purok Tilapia in Bacolod City’s Barangay 3.
Police identified the arrested as 29-year-old Michelle Tayo, 38-year-old Regis Bobole, and 34-year-old Bryan Matos. Authorities have requested anonymity for the 17-year-old minor.
Police Station 2 (PS2) commander, Police Major Sherlock Gabana, said Tayo, who is tagged as a street-level drug target and listed on the station’s drugs watchlist, was the main target of the operation.
Police recovered three elongated, three medium, and four small sachets of suspected shabu. The seized substances weighed at least two grams and were valued at P30,000.
Police also recovered the P300 buy-bust money used in the operation.
The three suspects are now detained at PS2, while the minor was turned over to the city’s social development center./DGB, WDJ
