The Living Stones International School (LSIS) girls’ volleyball team won the National Students Convention (NSC) girls’ volleyball competition last week in Vigan City, Ilocos Sur. The Bacolod City-based school, which won their ninth-straight NCS girls’ volleyball championship, defeated Shekinah Glory Christian Academy of Cagayan de Oro City in the finals.
“Ito ‘yung isa sa mga tournament na talagang pinaghandaan namin (This is one tournament we really prepared for),” said LSIS head coach Michael Larroza. “We are glad that we captured our ninth-straight title.”
Meanwhile, LSIS also won the boys’ basketball competition, finished second in athletics, and took third place in tchoukball./ASC, WDJ
