Fatal ‘hit-and-run’ in Bacolod City

A woman who has yet to be identified was recently found along Bacolod City’s Circumferential Road. Authorities believe she may have been the victim of a “hit-and-run.”
Police Station 3 traffic investigator, Police Staff Sergeant Bryan Cordero, said based on his investigation, the victim was possibly crossing the road when she was struck by an unidentified vehicle.
A search of the remains did not yield any identification. In addition, the victim was described as wearing a purple t-shirt with grey jogging pants and white slippers.
Police are still trying to determine the victim’s identity and the vehicle involved in the incident./DGB, WDJ
