Two Negrense boxers are set to battle tonight at the Manila Arena. Aston Palicte of Bago City and Cadiz City’s Renz Rosia will face-off in an eight-round non-title fight.
Palicte will be looking to bounce back from losing a World Boxing Organization world super flyweight bout earlier this year at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba City, Japan, where he lost via technical knockout to Japanese opponent Kazuto Ioka. Meanwhile, Rosia is hoping to come back after losing to Thai boxer Karoon Jarupianlerd last September.
Palicte will be entering the fight with a 25-3-1 win-loss-draw ring record, including 21 stoppages; while Rosia carries a 15-9-1 record with eight knockout wins.
The fight is being promoted by the Highland Hayashi Team of Brico Santig and Darwin Miller Depay’s DMAD Boxing Promotions./ASC, WDJ
