Dinagyang Festive Parade set for January 25

The Dinagyang Festive Parade is scheduled for January 25, starting at 1:00 p.m. at the Freedom Grandstand. Committee chairperson Alfonso Baldonado III said they are expecting up to 70 groups to participate.
“The presentations should be festive and colorful,” he said. “All are welcome to showcase their talents—companies, associations, cooperatives, federations, and groups.”
“It will be participatory as we are trying to embrace an inclusive principle so that nobody is left behind,” the committee chair added.
Participating teams should be comprised of at least 30 members and are expected to perform a three-minute presentation.
The grand winner will be awarded P10,000.
In addition, a P3,000 prize awaits each winner of the minor awards, including best in music, headdress, mascot, costume, choreography, and street dance./WDJ
