Kai Sotto was recently added to the Mighty Sports-Philippines team that will compete in the 2020 Dubai International Basketball Championships, which will take place from January 23 to February 1 in Dubai, UAE.
“Kai is huge—literally,” said Philippine team coach Charles Tiu. “I think this will be a good test for him to, personally, see how far he has gone playing against imports and guys who are older than him.”
Sotto, who spent the past year training in the United States with The Skill Factory, an Atlanta-based sports skill and development organization, was named a Class of 2020 four-star recruit by ESPN and ranked 76th among all recruits.
