Striker Jordan Mintah formally left Philippines Football League club Kaya FC-Iloilo for Terengganu FC II (TFC II), which finished the 2019 Malaysia Premier League in fifth place. The Ghana international revealed his intentions last week and signed a one-year contract with the Malaysian club.
“TFC has announced the signing of new import player Jordan Mintah to join the TFC II team next season,” the club said in a statement. “He is playing on a one-year contract signing deal with TFC II for the 2020 Premier League season.”
TFC II head coach Roshadi Wahab affirmed the former Kaya FC striker’s arrival maximizes their import quota.
“The presence of the import player means that the TFC II squad’s import player quota is over including the local player quota,” he pointed out./ASC, WDJ
