Alab Pilipinas avenges

loss against Thai team

After losing 111-76 to Thai basketball team Mono Vampire in their 2019-2020 ASEAN Basketball League opener, San Miguel Alab Pilipinas avenged their earlier loss with a 96-73 win last Tuesday at the Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan City.
The loss was the Thai side’s first loss of the season.
Sam Deguara led the win with a double-double on 20 points and 10 rebounds; while Nick Kick delivered his best game with 24 points off 8-of-18 shooting from the field and 8-of-10 from the foul stripe; Khalif Wyatt added 13 points, five assists, four rebounds, and two steals; Jason Brickman flirted with a triple-double off 10 assists, eight points, and eight rebounds; and Brandon Rosser chipped in 11 points.
“Last time we played these guys, we were outcoached and outplayed,” said Alab Pilipinas head coach Jimmy Alapag. “It’s important for us to come back and show how much progress we’ve made in the last four weeks.”
Meanwhile, Tyler Lamb finished with 22 points for Mono Vampire, while Mike Singletary added 17./ASC, WDJ
