A man believed to have drowned was found in a cave of Dalinson river around 6:00 a.m. on Monday at Sitio Magtuod in Toboso town’s Barangay Bug-ang.

Police identified the fatality as 37-year old Rene Gallego Pesanon, a farmer, married and resident of the place. The victim is already in the state of decomposition when found by his workmate. He was still brought to Alfredo E. Maranon Sr. Memorial District Hospital in Barangay Bato, Sagay City but was declared dead by attending physician.

Pesanon was last seen December 14 and believed to be under the influence of liquor by bystanders in the barangay./WDJ
