Bago City dominates in arnis

Competing under Area 4, the Bago City Yasay Sable Arnis Club (YSAC) dominated the competition at the Palarong Panlalawigan 2019, which came to a close last week.
The delegation, mostly comprised of Ramon Torres National High School and Bago City Elementary School athletes, won a total 23 gold, six silver, and two bronze medals.
“I want to thank everyone—the parents, YSAC, friends, and relatives—who tirelessly came every day to the venue to cheer and give support,” said Area 4 head coach Brian Martir. “Above all, I thank our loving and gracious God for this achievement.”
Meanwhile, Bacolod City, which competed as Area 7, came in second place with 10 gold, 20 silver, and 8 bronze medals./ASC, WDJ
