A music instructor was killed Sunday afternoon after being gunned down by riding-in-tandem suspects in Talisay City’s Barangay Matab-ang.
Police identified the fatality as 49-year-old Melvin Arnel Borja, a resident of the said barangay.
Talisay City police said the victim was on his way home aboard a tricycle and, while entering a subdivision, two unidentified men aboard a motorcycle blocked their way.
The backrider then fired at Borja three times before speeding away towards the barangay’s access road.
Authorities recovered four unidentified caliber shells from the crime scene.
