Genesis Servania of Bacolod City scored a unanimous decision victory last Sunday over Thai fighter Panya Uthok at Sangyo Hall in Kanazawa, Japan. The result was the Bacolodnon’s second consecutive win after his first round stoppage victory last August over Indonesia fighter Ahmad Lahizab.
“I am still slowly regaining my form,” the Pinoy boxer said. “Sa ngayon medyo kulang pa but I am hoping na makabalik tayo sa title fights by next year (Currently, I am still lacking but, hopefully, we will be able to return to title fights next year).”
Following the win, Servania improved to a 34-2-0 win-loss-draw record with 16 of his victories coming by way of stoppages. Meanwhile, his opponent dropped to a 53-7-0 record, including 35 knockout wins./ASC, WDJ
