Bacolod City wins

boys’ volleyball title

Bacolod City, who competed as Area 7 in Palarong Panlalawigan 2019, which came to a close last week, captured the secondary boys’ volleyball title at the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos gym in Bacolod City by beating Area 4, comprised of athlete from Bago City, La Carlota City, Pulupandan, Valladolid, San Enrique, and Pontevedra.
“Today, we changed history,” stated Bacolod City head coach Claro Tigallo. “Making it to the ‘Top 4’ [was] a great achievement already; but to be a champion is unbelievable.”
