Two people were slightly injured yesterday morning after a truck loaded with sugarcane tipped over in La Castellana’s Barangay Mansalanao.
Based on information provided by La Castellana municipal police, the truck was traveling downhill when the driver lost control on a curve and flipped on its side.
The driver and his assistant managed to escape but suffered several cuts across their bodies due to the crash.
Locals immediately contacted the town’s local disaster risk reduction management office to provide medical assistance to the injured./DGB, WDJ
