Sagay FC wins secondary boys’ football

Sagay FC won the Palarong Panlalawigan 2019 secondary boys’ football competition earlier this week following a 2-1 win over Area 8, representing the Negros Occidental Private Schools Sports Cultural Educational Association, or NOPSSCEA, at the Panaad Park and Stadium in Bacolod City.
Conversions from Jonan Lozada and Ryan Monares carried Sagay FC to the title and the opportunity to represent Negros Occidental in next year’s Western Visayas Regional Athletic Association in Aklan.
Meanwhile, the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos finished in third place./ASC, WDJ
