‘Pamukaw’ set for next weekend

The traditional Pamukaw, a parade of participants in next year’s Dinagyang ati-ati tribes competition conducted in an effort to drum-up public support for next year’s event, is set to take place next weekend, December 14.
Due to financial constraints, the event was not held last year.
The Iloilo Festivals Foundation Inc. (IFFI) announced the event will be held at various plazas including Arevalo Plaza, Mandurriao Plaza, Molo Plaza, Jaro Plaza, La Paz Plaza, Plaza Libertad; along with Sunburst Park and SM City Iloilo.
Tribu Molave is scheduled to perform at Arevalo Plaza, Familia Sagrada at Mandurriao Plaza, Tribu Parianon – Molo Plaza, Tribu Kanyao – Jaro Plaza, Tribu Aninipay – La Paz Plaza, Tribus Hamili and Sagasa – Plaza Libertad, Tribu Panaad – Sunburst Park, and Tribu Angola – SM City Iloilo./WDJ
