A laborer was stabbed dead by workmate around 7:30 in the evening Tuesday at KM 110 in Ilog town’s Barangay Dancalan.

Police identified the fatality as Rogelio Campo, 40, and resident of the said place. He sustained multiple stabbed wounds in the body and rushed to Lorenzo Zayco District Hospital but was declared dead-on-arrival by attending physician, Dr. Ralston Ramos.

The suspect was identified by police as 22-year-old Jay-R Ugdiman Talabon, single and resident of the place. He was arrested and detained at Ilog PNP station.

The two were having a drinking spree at the house of a certain Hernando Puentebella. Heated arguments regarding their works then erupted resulting to stabbing incident./WDJ
