Three-time Philippines Football League champions Ceres-Negros FC and their home grounds, the Panaad Park and Stadium, were recently recognized at the 3rd Philippines Sports Tourism Awards at Resorts World Manila in Pasay City. The Bacolod City-based club was named Sports Association of the Year while the Barangay Mansilingan facility won Sports Venue of the Year.
“The award is an inspiration for the provincial government to further strengthen its capabilities in promoting more sports undertakings,” said Negros Occidental Provincial Sports Coordinator Anthony Carlo Agustin, who received the award on behalf of Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson.
