Riverside College hosts PACU Expanded Board Meeting

Riverside College recently hosted the expanded board meeting of the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities (PACU).

PACU is composed of higher educational institutions (HEIs) with members nationwide.

The association aims to contribute to nation-building through transformative private higher education by mutual cooperation among the colleges and universities and strengthens its members’ capabilities, by advocating relevant and effective education policies. 

According to Riverside College President Samuel Z. Lee, PACU advocates improvements in the quality of education for all in the Philippines especially in higher education which is also aligned with what Riverside College seeks to address.

Meanwhile, Riverside Planning and Data Privacy Officer Angela Erbite said this is the first time that the PACU Board Meeting was held in Bacolod City, hosted by the Riverside College.

The PACU Board of Trustees is composed of the presidents of different private colleges and universities from Greater Manila Area, Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

The PACU Board is led by PACU President Dr. Caroline Marian S. Enriquez who is the President of Our Lady of Fatima University in Greater Manila Area.

Riverside College played a good host by having a local tour for the members of PACU Board of Trustees and officers who enjoyed the food, the people, and the place./WDJ

Riverside College President Samuel Z. Lee said, “PACU advocates improvements in the quality of education for all in the Philippines especially in higher education, which is also aligned with what Riverside College seeks to address.”
PACU is an organization composed of higher educational institutions that seeks to contribute to nation-building through transformative private higher education by mutual cooperation among colleges and universities, along with strengthening member capabilities by advocating for relevant and effective education policies.
According to Riverside Planning and Data Privacy Officer Angela Erbite, this was the first time the organization has hosted the meeting in Bacolod City.
