The Rotary Club of Bacolod recently turned over a classroom building to Julia Montilla Mapa Memorial Elementary School in Moises Padilla’s Barangay Crossing Magallon.
The building’s inauguration and blessing began with a mass and turnover, where a ceremonial key was given to Principal Merly Dionela and Parents-Teachers Association President Marides de Juan.
Club President Frederick Anthony de Leon said the building, which will house two classrooms, will help provide “a conducive learning and teaching environment that will benefit over 117 students.”
Former District Governor Edgar Sy financed the construction and former President Gregory Mapa donated the property./WDJ
