Tay Tung finishes in fourth place

Bacolod Tay Tung High School finished in fourth place in the 2019 Rebisco Volleyball League national finals at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City following their 25-21, 18-25, 26-24 loss over the weekend to a team representing Hawaii.
After splitting the first two sets, Tay Tung opened the final set strong with attacks from Alyssa Bertolano, Shane Carmona, and Joan Marie Monares but the Hawaiian side rallied and made it a competitive match. The Bacolod City side then edged closer to taking the match but multiple errors allowed their opponents to take the victory.
Meanwhile, Thai side 3BB Nakornnont emerged as champions following their 26-24, 25-17, 25-15 straight set victory over the Baby Falcons in the gold medal match./ASC, WDJ
