A 26-year-old man was found dead yesterday morning in a vacant lot inside St. Francis Village in Bacolod City’s Barangay Taculing.

Police identified the fatality as Arjay Espinase, a resident of Sitio Sibucao in Bacolod City’s Barangay Banago.

Based on initial investigation carried out by Police Station 6 (PS6), Espinase was said to have been invited by his friends to a birthday party last week and has remained missing ever since.

The victim’s body is presently undergoing post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death, as the remains were already in an advanced state of decomposition.

Cops are also looking at the victim’s friends as “persons of interest” in the case./DGB, WDJ
