A 30-year-old man was arrested after he allegedly robbed a woman at knifepoint in front of a shopping mall at Gatuslao Street in Bacolod City’s Barangay 8, yesterday morning.
Police identified the arrested as Clint Agravante, a resident of the city’s Purok 6 Magsungay.
According to Police Station 2 (PS2) investigation, Agravante allegedly pointed the weapon to Maikko Caceres while riding a public utility jeepney and declared a hold up.
The suspect was later arrested by police during a follow-up operation.
Recovered from the suspect were an eight-and-a-half-inch folding knife and two live 12-gauge shotgun ammunitions.
Agravante is detained at PS2, facing charges for illegal possession of ammunition and deadly weapon, and robbery./DGB, WDJ
