The bulk of the proposed 2020 Negros Occidental provincial budget worth P4.3 billion will go towards personal services. Based on a copy of the budget obtained by media, P2.1 million is earmarked for the expense.
In addition, P780 million was allocated for maintenance and other operating expenses, and P1.2 million set aside special purpose appropriations.
Meanwhile, the Provincial Board recently agreed to move its regular session next week from Tuesday afternoon to 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
