A motorist was killed after hitting the rear portion of a cargo truck around 2:10 a.m. yesterday at Sitio Tanate in Himamaylan City’s Barangay Aguisan.

Police identified the fatality as Charlon Tiu, 25, resident of Barangay Talaban of the said city.

The victim is driving his Baja motorcycle when he rammed the parked truck loaded with sugarcane operated by Ronie Estrabela .

He was then rushed to Binalbagan Infirmary but declared dead-on-arrival by attending physician.

According to the victim’s sister, he was drunk when he left their house./WDJ
