A pedestrian was ran over by a Ceres bus while crossing the national road in Valladolid’s Barangay Palaka, around 8:15 p.m. on Saturday.

Police said the unidentified victim was rushed to Valladolid District Hospital but declared dead-on-arrival by attending physician.

Bus driver Pepito Cecoral Jr., 50, of Barangay Canmoros in Binalbagan town, was running from north to south direction when he overran the victim.

He is under custody of Valladolid police for proper disposition./WDJ
