USLS, Jack and Jill School win NOPSSCEA karatedo competition

The University of St. La Salle (USLS) and Jack and Jill School recently emerged as the winners of the Negros Occidental Private Schools Sports Cultural Educational Association (NOPSSCEA) karatedo competition, which was held at City Mall Mandalagan in Bacolod City.
USLS retained their secondary boys’ overall championship behind Ryan Giray but failed to win the secondary girls’ competition after losing to Trinity Christian School (TCS).
In addition, the USLS college men’s karatedo team defended their overall title with Isiah Aragon named Best Karateka. On the women’s side, Colegio San Agustin-Bacolod (CSA-B) won gold.
Meanwhile, Jack and Jill School swept the elementary karatedo division. The school won five gold, five silver, and six bronze medals in the boys’ event; while taking four gold and three silver medals in the girls’ category.
Among other individual honors, Romy Lisondra of USLS, Joey Suclan of CSA-B, TCS’ Coach Buclao, and Elan Delfin of the Jack and Jill School were all named Best Coach./ASC, WDJ
