Thai team beats Alab Pilipinas, 111-76

San Miguel Alab Pilipinas suffered a 111-76 defeat to Mono Vampire of Thailand to open the 2019-2020 ASEAN Basketball League over the weekend at Stadium 29 in Nonthaburi, Thailand.
Michael Singletary top-scored for the Thai side with 19 points, 11 rebounds, and four assists; while Moses Morgan chipped in 16 points, including four triples; and Freddie Lish, Tyler Lamb, and Ryan Watkins each scored 13.
Singletary set the tone early for Mono Vampire with 11 early points for a 31-12 advantage. Their lead grew to as much as 38 points late in the game after a triple by Jittaphon Towaroj with 50 seconds to play.
Meanwhile, Nick King finished with 21 points, seven rebounds, and two assists for Alab Pilipinas; Louie Vigil added 13 points and five rebounds; and Jordan Heading contributed 12 points and six boards./ASC, WDJ
