Philippine National Police (PNP) officer-in-charge, Lt. General Archie Francisco Gamboa, yesterday confirmed law enforcement officials would be receiving a year-end bonus with the approval of a P7.4 billion allocation.
According to PNP comptrollership director, Police Major General Jose Victor Ramos, 205,189 will be eligible for bonuses, which will amount to the equivalent of one month’s salary, along with a required P5,000 cash gift from the national government.
Bonuses will be credited to ATM payroll accounts.
However, law enforcement officials with pending administrative and criminal cases will have their bonuses placed on hold./WDJ
