Doug Kramer retires

Matthew Wright drained the game-winning triple as the Phoenix Pulse Fuel Masters ended their 2019 PBA Governors’ Cup campaign with a 120-117 overtime win over the Blackwater Elite last night at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
With the score tied at 117-all following a three-point play by the Elite’s Shej Roi Sumang, Wright was left wide open for his game-winning shot.
Wright finished with 28 points, including five three-point conversions, for Phoenix; while Alonzo Gee nearly had a triple-double with 34 points, 14 rebounds, and seven assists; Ryan Garcia scored 17 points; and Alex Mallari added 10.
Meanwhile, Phoenix center Doug Kramer, who earlier announced his retirement after 12 years in the PBA, finished with three points, 10 rebounds, and one assist./ASC, WDJ
