The Technological University of the Philippines-Visayas (TUP Visayas) recently signed memoranda of agreement with the Metalworking Industries Association of the Philippines, along with the Don Bosco Technical Institute and Negros Occidental National Science High School. According to the school, the agreements will strengthen their “reach and presence in the province.”
The signing, which took place last week at the TUP Visayas training center in Talisay City, featured representatives from the school expressing their commitment to the academic agenda; research and extension; and the expertise collaboration, alignment of program content, sharing of facilities, and yearly feedback, or EASY engagement program.
TUP Visayas indicated they would be able to provide rapid prototyping and powder coating, design thinking and robotics, and data analysis and intellectual property management programs for their partners./WDJ
