Negrense beach volleyball players Bernadeth Pons and Cherry Rondina are set to lead the 2019 Rebisco Beach Volleyball International Open, which opens today at the Sands at SM by the Bay in Pasay City.
The pair will be joined by DM Demontaño and Jackie Estoquia, Angelique Gervacio and Dij Rodriguez, and Babylove Barbon and Gen Eslapor.
The local teams are also expected to face opponents from Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, and New Zealand.
Meanwhile, Edmar Bonono and Jude Garcia, Krung Arbasto and James Buytrago, and Pol Salvador and Pemie Bagalay will be competing in the men’s tournament.
