Bacolod Tay Tung High School, who are scheduled to meet the St. John’s Institute in the Negros Occidental Private Schools Sports Cultural Educational Association (NOPSSCEA) secondary girls’ volleyball finals this weekend, are determined to win the title and earn the right to represent the region in the upcoming Palarong Pambansa.
“The goal is really to be given a chance to represent the Western Visayas anew in the Palarong Pambansa, especially for me since this is my final year,” said Tay Tung middle blocker Joan Marie Monares. “That starts by trying to win the NOPSSCEA title again.”
“We will give our best again [in the] finals,” she added.
