A 17-day-old infant was reportedly kidnapped earlier this week at a Bacolod City mall.
According to the complainant, Mary Grace Goto, a resident of Hacienda Teresita in Bacolod City’s Barangay Granada, the alleged kidnapping occurred around 1:00 p.m. last Monday.
The mother said she was approached by the suspect at Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital during a check-up, who introduced as a relative. The two then proceeded to a local shopping mall, where the suspect offered to pay for a hair rebonding treatment, which took around four hours.
During that time, the suspect agreed to watch the baby.
While inside the salon, the suspect said she would buy food but, after an hour, she and the baby never returned.
Police Station 1 has since launched a manhunt operation against the suspect./DGB, WDJ
