By Adrian Stewart Co

After Ceres-Negros FC scored a 4-3 win over Stallion Laguna FC in the 2019 Copa Paulino Alcántara semifinals, Kaya FC-Iloilo pulled off a 3-0 victory over Mendiola FC in their bracket, setting up a ‘Visayas Clásico’ final this weekend, November 16.
Ceres FC swept all four meetings with their regional rivals, the defending cup champions, during this year’s Philippines Football League.
After a scoreless first half at the Aboitiz Pitch in Lipa City, Batangas, striker Kenshiro Daniels put Kaya FC on the board in the 51st minute off a pass from Negrense midfielder Jayson Panhay. The lead then doubled in the 72nd minute with a goal from defender Masanari Omura.
Forward Darryl Roberts then made it 3-0 in the 81st minute./ASC, WDJ
